Business Development Manager – Christchurch

Senior Digital Marketing Specialist

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Work closely with the Marketing Director to implement our digital brand strategy and planning;
  • Plan and execute our content development  including new features, services and products i.e. content and platform development;
  • Campaign planning and execution across various media, including working with key group stakeholders (NZME.)
  • Develop and manage the client communication strategy including brand development, advertising creative, e-marketing and media strategy;
  • Tracking consumer lifecycle behaviours and identifying and mitigating at risk groups;
  • Accountability for loyalty initiatives;
  • Lead our subscriber management strategy and delivery
  • Manage sponsorship and PR opportunities
  • Reporting on key metrics, analysis and trends including performing ad hoc analytics and conversation optimisation
  • Execute and report on A/B testing and survey initiatives
  • People leadership of 2 digital marketing specialists;
  • Providing support and advice on campaign tagging and additional on-site tracking
  • Relevant web research and reporting on competitive e-commerce environment

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Relevant Marketing degree
  • 3+ years of experience with digital marketing and project management
  • 2+ years people leadership
  • 3+ years Brand Management experience
  • 4+ knowledge of e-marketing, SEO (a bonus) and Internet sales
  • Web Programming and techniques with particular reference to HTML
  • Project management experience
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen with a strong ability to communicate the plan to ensure delivery
  • Web analytic tools and measurement techniques
  • Good technical experience and can easily pick up new tools
  • Solid analytical skills with web metrics, market research and sales data
