Copywriter – Auckland

Do you hate rhetorical questions at the start of advertisements? If you answered ‘yes’, congratulations, you’ve passed the first test. If you answered out loud, even better! We like your enthusiasm. Your off to a great start. And if that last sentence grinds your grammatical gears, well, you may have just found yourself the perfect job.

Launched way back in July 2010 and owned by media giant APN, GrabOne is New Zealand’s favourite and most trusted group buying website. As a member of the GrabOne copywriting contingent you’ll be:

  • Putting together creative online ads (a sales pitch) to sell a wide range of things, from meals at Indian restaurants and full body massages, right through to lawn mowing services and golf course packages
  • Working with our sales teams and external clients to make sure the ads fulfil their needs and expectations
  • Combining administrative skills and an eye for detail to ensure all deals are accurate

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Possess brilliant grammar skills

It should be noted, while there is a ton of creative bits and bobs to sink your teeth into, there are a few admin tasks involved in the position so basic computer knowledge and the ability to pick up new processes quickly is a must.
