Every year the Auckland Seafood Festival gets bigger and better than the one before and 2012 will be no exception. This three day extravaganza will have more seafood dishes than ever, some amazing Kiwi music acts, competitions and live demonstrations, all at a brand new venue in Wynyard Quarter. What better way to celebrate life in this beautiful country, and all of the fresh, delicious seafood that it has to offer. The tasty food will also taste even better in the knowledge that since it began in 2006 the festival has raised over $340,000 for worthy New Zealand charities

Because after finding all sorts of allergies, seafood is one of the few things i am still allowed to eat!
I am on the sea food diet. Whenever I see food I eat it! Definitely Auckland Seafood Festival is the time when I can feast!
my family deserve to win a pass because they have to put up with me catching, cleaning and then cooking what I have caught. I think that they need to enjoy the sensation that is seafood with out the smells of stinky fish rags, guts and bait after a day out fishing.

I’m a sea food fan and this would be the perfect treat for me!
My wife is about to give birth to our first child and has been hanging out for summer and seafood as has been ultra safe avoiding raw fish and shellfish, which she loves. We have been many times to the festival and this would be a great win to top off the long year.
I deserve to win so i can take my mum who is visiting from the UK in January for her birthday and LOVES seafood as much as i do, she would really enjoy the festival and it would be great to spend her birthday, showing off how amazing New Zealand food is, and enjoying a wicked atmosphere.
Because after having a hellish year with car crashes, redundancy, house fire, my daughter being diagnosed with asthma and a very very broke xmas it would be nice to have a day out with my hubby as its been over a year since we had a date!!

This would be awesome to win because my cousin from Ausssie is coming over for xmas and the seafood over there isnt THE greatest and is very costly so i feel this would be a nice treat for her. Plus itll win me some bonus points for being favourite cousin ever :p

Really want to go to this seafood festival as we’ve heard soo much about it the last 3 years we’ve been here but never had a chance and oh yes, coming from a coastal town back home, my affection for seafood is unbounded!
i have a daughter who is seafood mad,she would be in her element if i could take her to this. It would be a awesome treat as she has just completed a brilliant year at school after overcoming major hurdles that were thrown at her last year by bullies.
Simply because there’s no better way to have a good time, enjoy a delicious meal and knowing at the same time that we’re at an event that helps New Zealand charities. I’m down for that!
Would be great to get ideas on meals are made with Seafood, as well as best matching wines and beer to go with them

i have just finished doing a thai cooking class with my 16 year old son
and we have found lots of really srumptious ways to use seafood and i cant wait until i try them out on my friends and family over summer time.I am now looking for new ideas and would love to take my husband with me to the seafood festival as neither of us have been before and at the moment we need a nice break with eachother to try and cheer things up a bit in our life
I deserve to take my mother to The Seafood Festilal because my mother lives and works in Saudi Arabia and the first thing she loves to eat wen she gets bak is Seafood as none is available over there, and she LOVES!!! SEAFOOD, we all do, nothing like watching your 4 year old son slurp a BIG JUICY OYSTER!!!! And your mums facials whilst hes doing it! lol

In 2009 I took my mum along to our first seafood festival on the waterfront and had an amazing experience. I broke my leg later that year so was unable to attend the 2010 festival. Having just had surgery to repair the knee, I am currently incapacitated … staying with a dear friend looking after me while I recuperate. My girlfriend has partial blindness and I would dearly love to introduce her to the seafood festival as a thanks heaps gesture!
Because I’m due to give birth any day, and have spent the last 9 months craving all my favourite shellfish! Would be a great way to celebrate the birth of our daughter and feast once more on beautiful NZ seafood.
I spent all my money getting to NZ with none left to enjoy it. Please may I have tickets.

I love fresh seafood! They don’t need a lot of cooking, because they have own fantastic taste. But I don’t know about Auckland well because I came to NZ only 2months ago. So I want to know the local fresh fishes and Shellfishes at there!

I have been told by the doctor to eat more seafood but I only do fish one way, so I need help to find different ways to prepare and cook seafood dishes
After avoiding seafood while I was pregnant and for the first 6 months while breatfeeding I have some long lost time to make up for.
